NCR Teradata wanted to open new markets for their powerful database computer. NCR chose FCI to engineer a software solution that would enable their database computers to interface with both Unisys mainframe hardware platforms (2200 and A-Series). FCI engineered a solution that protected NCR's previous software investment while at the same time creating a new and very profitable market.
